Job Description
The Steiner College Development Program is an early-career opportunity designed for upcoming/recent graduates looking to launch a career in the electrical distribution industry. Through hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship, participants develop the sales and technical expertise needed to support contractor and industrial customers—while building a strong foundation for long-term career growth. What You'll Do As a participant in the CDP, you will rotate through key areas of the business and gain real-world experience, including: Supporting sales and operations teams in day-to-day activities Learning product applications and technical solutions Assisting with customer quotes, orders, and project coordination Building relationships with contractor and industrial customers Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve customer needs Program Highlights 18-month structured development program Hands-on experience across sales, operations, and product specialties Exposure to contractor and industrial markets Mentorship from experienced industry professionals Real customer interaction and quoting experience Clear pathway to a full-time role upon successful completion Career Outcomes Upon completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to pursue full-time roles within Steiner Electric, including: Inside Sales Outside Sales Strategic Account Management Technical Product Specialist Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) (recent graduate or early career professional) Strong interest in sales, business development, or technical products Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a willingness to learn Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment What We Offer Competitive base salary Benefits starting on your first day of employment Paid time off Performance-based bonus opportunities Ongoing training and professional development Steiner is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment.
