Job Description

Job Summary Ignite your passion for renewable energy as a Solar Sales Representative! In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our solar energy solutions by engaging potential customers directly in their communities. Your enthusiasm, technical knowledge, and persuasive communication skills will empower homeowners and businesses to embrace sustainable energy options. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise while making a positive impact on the environment and local communities. Candidates must have access to a car and valid drivers license to commute to assigned territories. Duties Conduct energetic door-to-door outreach to educate prospects about solar energy benefits and solutions Identify and qualify leads through outside sales efforts, building strong relationships with potential clients Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress efficiently Present tailored solar proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet or exceed targets Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract diverse customer segments, including multilingual communities Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and technical inquiries confidently Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities within CRM systems for accurate reporting Experience Proven experience in outside sales or energy sales, preferably within the renewable or solar industry Strong background in marketing techniques, including door-to-door outreach and community engagement Multilingual abilities are highly valued to connect with diverse customer bases effectively Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage leads and customer data Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to drive sales success Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate yourself and others in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in technical sales or energy-related fields is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential Important Salary Information This role is 100% commission based, the minimum annual salary is based on historical averages from past door-to-door salespersons
