What they do
A Lead Stocker trains and supervises stock and sales associates on all inventory handling processes from receiving goods in the warehouse to stocking them on the retail floor. Manages staffing levels of stockers to enable consistent replenishment of store. Ensures fully stocked displays and shelves, including the rotation of product to prevent losses due to expiration. Oversees stockroom, performs stock room maintenance and shipping tasks.

Job Description
- Responsible for stocking items using a stand up/reach forklift. Also responsible for putting away product overstock to secondary back stock locations after it has been received and posted to inventory, paying close attention that the product is in good saleable condition and that the expiration date is within an acceptable date range. - Support warehouse operations including department readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department financial goals and objectives, department cleanliness, and safe use of equipment and tools. Replenishment & Inventory Procedures
- Support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing and accounting, back stock, reclamation and returns, damages and reworks, supply use and inventory preparation. Problem Solving
- Clearly define issues upfront and then use critical thinking skills and logic to effectively obtain answers to questions through a conscious and organized manner. Safety/Quality Orientation
