Job Summary Since 2017, we've enjoyed sharing our artisan breads and pastries at farmers markets, building relationships, and welcoming neighbors to learn about our craft. This role is focused on hospitality, product knowledge, and community engagement, with opportunities to work at different markets across the region. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Arrive before market open to set up tents, tables, and tech, and prepare all bread, pastry, service, and POS stations in a timely and presentable standard
• Represent Proof Bread at farmers markets, sharing your knowledge of our sourdough breads and pastries, flour, milling, and brand story
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional environment
• Restock products, displays, and supplies as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Engage with company platforms regularly to remain informed on core sourdough breads and pastries, craft beverages, and seasonal specialties
• Operate POS systems to handle sales accurately and efficiently
• Maintain communication with the team, during and outside of market hours, staying up to date on market changes, product launches, company specials, and necessary information
• Track waste and sales accurately using company tools to minimize loss and support sustainability
• Ride along with the market driver: pick up products in the morning, set up at the market, and return products after the market ends
• Stay friendly and engaged with other local vendors, representing authentically and positively with the community
• Clean, organize, and tear down market setup to be left for driver pickup after market end

• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy market hours
• Team-oriented and open to learning our POS system and internal tools
• Weekend availability required, with flexibility to work at different markets

Prerequisites and Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to the relevant location
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods outside in all weather types
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• Flexible shift availability for weekend mornings
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
