Specific Responsibilities Include (Not limited to the following duties):
Tasting Room:
Provide excellent customer service to all guests, maximizing the customer experience Maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism with guests, management, and co-workers Respond promptly and appropriately to all guest requests and concerns Quickly recognize the signs that a guest should not be served alcohol and take appropriate action to professionally address the situation Develop basic knowledge of the sakes and sake-making practices to continually promote and educate guests on the offerings Responsibly pour selected sakes for visitors according to tasting room guidelines and procedures and in accordance with laws and regulations Opening and closing, stocking sake and retail products, and assisting with the proper display and pricing of retail items Handle POS transactions on an integrated cash register Assist customers to their vehicles with large purchases (Must be able to lift 40 lbs) Clean tasting room, bathroom facilities, wash and polish glassware used in the tasting room Available to work special events on weekends and evenings Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and assist as needed with ensuring all shifts are appropriately staffed. Packaging and Shipping Online Orders:
Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring all items are securely and safely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
Packing POS Materials & Product Samples:
Efficiently pack Point of Sale (POS) materials, product samples, and other promotional items, and arrange for shipping.
Sales Administration Support:
Assist in managing the inventory of products and POS materials, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
General Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years Prior work experience with bar/restaurant, brewery, winery, and/or service experience a plus Detail oriented Fluent English Fluent Japanese preferred but not necessary Able to lift and carry heavy objects (25 - 50 lbs) Able to stand, walk, lift and bend for about 7 hours during shifts Able to reliably work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays) from 11:00 am to 6:30pm, and weekdays with a commitment of less than 30 hours per week Able to work flexibly outside of regular tasting room hours, including Mondays and Tuesdays, to fulfill additional responsibilities. Able to maintain excellent customer service and professional appearance suitable for guest interaction while working under pressure
