Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandise Inspector to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing merchandise to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures. This role requires familiarity with digital tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed inspections of merchandise to verify quality, quantity, and compliance with company standards. Identify and report any defects, damages, or discrepancies in products. Document inspection results accurately using digital systems or applications. Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication. Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pickers (if certified).

Requirements:

Proven experience in merchandise inspection (not limited to general warehouse tasks). Basic to intermediate computer skills. Comfort and ease in using digital modules or applications. (Preferred) Experience operating forklifts or pickers. High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Good communication skills and teamwork mindset. Good math and PC skills. Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certification is a plus. Prior experience in a logistics or quality control environment. Mathematical Skills Basic Skills such as ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Language Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 40lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, kneel and squat.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Full-time Pay:

$17.50 - $18.50 per hour
