Physical requirements:
(1) Walk, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, and reach for prolonged periods. (2) Lift or move heavy boxes or crates weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Work environment : Most of the work is performed in the store display areas which are well lighted ad maintained at a comfortable temperature. The store aisles are often crowded with customers and grocery carts. When working in the storage area or loading dock, or outside retrieving carts, the incumbent may be exposed to hot or cold weather or damp or drafty conditions. Incumbent may be exposed to differences in temperatures in storing or obtaining items in refrigerated rooms. There is a danger of minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises, or heat sealer burns. Work environment includes temperature changes due to opening and closing of doors.
