A Stock Associate receives shipments to a store, checks for shipment accuracy, stocks items in the warehouse and/or on the sales floor, maintains store inventory, and returns any defective merchandise. Works in stores, warehouses, stockrooms, and other storage facilities.

Job Description
Job Title:
Stocker Duties:
- Stocking shelves, ensuring products are properly displayed, organized and priced correctly
- Assisting customers in finding products, providing recommendations, and pricing
- Operating cash registers and handling customer transactions accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the store aisles and shelves
- Rotating products to ensure freshness and remove and notify management of expired items
- Assisting with receiving, breaking down of load, and arranging by aisle
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of grocery products and familiarity with different brands
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
