Southbay Firewood is seeking a

FULL TIME

stock associate/delivery driver in Hawthorne, CA . Looking for a smart, reliable hard worker who is capable of working with little supervision. This is a fast-paced and tough job during the busy season so need to be physically fit and ready to help wherever needed. If you like working outdoors and not at a desk this might be a great fit for you. We need someone who can take direction quickly and move from task to task without delay.

Responsibilities:

Deliver firewood to residential and commercial accounts around Los Angeles. Must be comfortable driving large and heavy delivery trucks. You do not need a special license. Stack and move firewood on the lot. Work with wood splitter and circular saw. Assist with general clean-up and maintenance around lot. Help customers through the drive-thru.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. Comfortable around power tools and heavy machinery (training provided). Ability to stand, crawl, walk and stoop; push and pull objects up to 50 lbs.; and lift or lower objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in wet or humid weather, and extreme temperatures. Friendly manner when working with customers. Mechanically inclined (preferred).

Work Days:

Tuesday-Saturday, Hours 9:00am-4:30pm
