Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their produce selections, providing product knowledge and recommendations Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently using scanners to process transactions accurately Stock, organize, and maintain produce displays, ensuring freshness and visual appeal in accordance with merchandising standards Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and assisting with shipping & receiving processes Utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and manual tools for loading, unloading, and transporting produce within the store or warehouse Maintain cleanliness of the produce area by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to safety practices for manual handling and heavy lifting Support warehouse operations by assisting with packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks as needed Requirements Previous retail store experience or warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with retail sales and merchandising is a plus Ability to operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and scanners safely and effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, inventory control, and maintaining store presentation Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while following safe lifting practices Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory counting, and transaction processing Knowledge of produce products, retail store operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and general maintenance practices is desirable Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to providing fresh produce while delivering outstanding service.
