About Hightend Dispensary & Lounge Hightend Dispensary & Lounge is a premium recreational cannabis retailer in Palm Springs, California, offering a curated selection of high-quality products in a welcoming lounge atmosphere. We prioritize exceptional organization, compliance, and a team-oriented culture. We're seeking a dedicated Stocker & Merchandiser to keep our inventory fully stocked, organized, and merchandised at all times. Job Overview This role is focused exclusively on inventory stocking and merchandising. You will ensure the front sales floor is always full and visually appealing, the backroom inventory room stays perfectly organized, and new arrivals are properly tagged, rotated, and displayed. You will lead tagging and organizing efforts, prevent batch mixing, and rotate old/new SKUs to maintain freshness and compliance. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives on detail and organization in a fast-paced retail setting. Key Responsibilities Maintain the front store inventory fully stocked at all times, ensuring displays are complete and ready for customers. Keep the back inventory room perfectly organized, with products grouped by SKU, batch, and category. Merchandise new arrivals and rearrange displays as needed to highlight promotions and new items. Lead tagging of all incoming products, ensuring accurate labels and no mixing of batches. Rotate old and new SKUs to prioritize freshness and prevent expired or outdated stock. Conduct regular inventory checks to identify low stock or disorganization and address immediately. Collaborate with the Store Manager on stock levels and display layouts for optimal presentation. Follow all company SOPs and compliance standards for inventory handling and organization. Required Qualifications 21+ with valid ID. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (e.g., boxes of products). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable transportation and flexibility for weekends/holidays. Previous stocking or merchandising experience (retail or cannabis preferred but not required). Must pass a background check per CA cannabis regulations. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of cannabis products and inventory systems (e.g., Treez or METRC). Experience rotating SKUs and preventing batch mixing in a regulated environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on organization tasks.
