The Stockroom Clerk performs physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role involves unpacking and checking received goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records, and rejecting unsatisfactory items. Responsibilities also include lifting heavy items, operating a forklift, preparing goods for final shipment, and distributing materials to inventory and manufacturing lines. This position may also be referred to as a shipping, receiving, pick-pack, or stores clerk.Nature of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure materials from receiving inspection are correctly identified, stored in appropriate stockroom locations, and systematically transacted.
- Perform shortage fills for work orders during the put-away procedure.
- Comply with all FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures upon receiving materials into the stockroom.
- Pull parts from stock for work orders daily under the direction of the kit-pull coordinator.
- Perform daily cycle counts directed by the inventory coordinator to achieve a 100% accuracy goal.
- Provide stockroom window service, including cage or tape and reel issues, at the direction of the stockroom leader or supervisor.
- Maintain a neat and orderly stockroom environment.
- Utilize the Oracle data entry system to process simple transactions and research discrepancies encountered during put-away and kit-pulling processes.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum four years of stockroom clerk related experience.
- Strong math skills and the ability to identify various electronic components (working knowledge of SMT components preferred).
- Experience with the Oracle system.
- Knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping transactions.
- Strong teamwork skills, punctuality, good attendance, and flexibility with work hours. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range(annual): $43,680

- $24 / hour) Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
