Position Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver / Stockperson to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying quantities and documentation, maintaining accurate inventory, organizing the stockroom, and supporting production with material movement and kitting. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where inventory accuracy and timely material availability are critical. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies. Verify quantities, part numbers, purchase orders, and packing slips. Properly identify, label, and store incoming materials. Enter and maintain accurate receiving and inventory records. Organize and maintain stockroom locations for easy material identification. Pull and issue materials to production and work orders. Assist with kitting materials for production. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities. Investigate inventory discrepancies and report shortages or overages. Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Production regarding material issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom. Follow company procedures for material handling, traceability, and inventory control. Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment as needed. Perform other material-control and stockroom duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in receiving, inventory, stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and understand part numbers, purchase orders, and packing documentation. Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/ERP systems. Ability to communicate effectively with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and other departments. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Must be dependable and able to meet scheduled work hours. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Preferred Experience Manufacturing or aerospace/defense industry experience. Experience working with an ERP or inventory management system. Experience with inventory transactions, receiving, issuing, and cycle counting. Familiarity with BOMs, work orders, and production kits. Forklift experience is a plus.
