Job Summary The Replenishment/Receiver Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming inventory, and for replenishing pick locations, bins, or storage areas to keep warehouse operations running efficiently. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring product flows smoothly from receiving dock to storage to fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming freight; unload trucks/containers using pallet jacks, forklifts, or conveyor systems Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report/document issues per company procedure Sort, label, and stage received product for putaway Replenish forward pick locations, bins, or racking from overstock/reserve storage to support order fulfillment Rotate stock (FIFO) to reduce aging, damage, or expiration where applicable Maintain accurate inventory counts; assist with cycle counts and physical inventories Organize and maintain receiving areas, staging areas, and storage locations for efficiency and safety Break down pallets and flatten/dispose of packaging materials in accordance with safety and recycling protocols Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) safely and within certification guidelines Communicate stock shortages, damaged goods, or replenishment needs to management and the Ops team Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation procedures Support other warehouse functions (picking, packing, put-away) as needed during peak periods Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or receiving role preferred Forklift/pallet jack certification a plus, or willingness to obtain certification through company training Experience with WMS, RF scanners, or inventory tracking systems preferred Basic math and reading comprehension skills for verifying shipments and counts Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly (and up to 75+ lbs occasionally, with equipment or assistance) Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb as needed throughout shift Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature variance, dock areas, dust) Comfortable with repetitive motion and prolonged periods of standing/walking Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, pallet jack) per certification Work Schedule May include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on warehouse needs Shift flexibility required to accommodate delivery volume, especially during peak season
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
