This individual will work under the guidance of the company Operations Manager and in collaboration with Procurement and other internal departments. The ideal candidate will have a high school degree or equivalent and at least 3+ year's recent quality experience in a manufacturing environment. They will have practical experience working within Quality Management Systems (AS9100 andISO 9001
) and have in-depth knowledge of IPC-610-A andIPC J-STD-001
standards. A currentIPC J-STD-001
certification is a plus. They will be an intelligent, technically savvy and trustworthy individual, with an exceptional ability to multi-task and support company-wide activities. The candidate should be able to demonstrate expertise in: Receiving of electrical components and mechanical components Using inventory management computer systems, preferably pcMRP Kitting components for PCB and electromechanical assemblies Following receiving and inventory processes Working within an engineering and production environment Experience with pcMRP inventory system a plus Experience in the defense and aerospace environment a plus Responsibilities to include: Oversee stockroom operations including inventory control, materials movement, receiving, cycle counting and physical inventories Maintenance of very high standards of inventory accuracy Maintains master file of stock items by assigning number to new stock items; updating inventory counts and recording reorder point information. Manage inventory replenishment reporting Support production of electromechanical components Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment as needed Optimize layout of stockroom for efficiency Ensure policies for ESD, moisture sensitivity, and other storage requirements are followed Collect and forward packing slips and shipping documentation Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededAdditional Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings and understand tolerance Basic math and geometry/trigonometry Ability to work independently with limited supervision Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills A hands-on, "get it done" attitude Ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines Knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows 7, Word, Excel, etc. Excellent oral and written English skills U.S. citizen or resident statusAbout ESI:
