Produce Associate — AJ's Market AJ's Market is a local, family-owned natural foods market serving the Soquel and Aptos community for nearly 40 years. We're looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Produce Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, presentation, and enjoys working with fresh, seasonal products. The position may also include assisting with ordering and maintaining strong in-stock conditions within the department. ⸻ What You'll Do Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce to our quality standards Keep produce displays full, attractive, and consistent throughout the day Remove damaged or aging product Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe department Assist customers with questions and product selection as needed Help maintain accurate inventory levels and support department ordering ⸻ What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and attention to detail Care for presentation and cleanliness Customer-focused and dependable Willingness to learn and improve Comfortable staying organized and maintaining inventory levels Able to lift 40-50 lbs and stay active ⸻ If you enjoy working with fresh food, take pride in doing things well, and want to grow your Skills within a strong produce department, we'd love to hear from you.
