Duties Stock shelves efficiently by unloading deliveries using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring products are organized and accessible. Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, update stock records, and facilitate seamless shipping and receiving processes. Maintain accurate inventory control through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies to management. Assist with produce handling, packaging, and merchandising to promote fresh and appealing displays that attract customers. Ensure the store remains clean, safe, and well-maintained by performing routine maintenance tasks and adhering to safe lifting practices during heavy lifting activities. Support shipping and receiving operations by loading and unloading shipments efficiently while following safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members in multiple languages if needed to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service. Skills Proficiency with warehouse operations including inventory management systems, RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment operation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs. Experience in retail store product knowledge, merchandising, stocking, packaging, and sales techniques. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy items regularly. Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing transactions when needed. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
