Job Description
Overview We're seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Associate to join our team. As the face of our convenience store, you'll provide excellent service, engage with customers, promote products, and help keep the store tidy and welcoming. If you're interested in the stocking and cooler role, simply bring your resume to the interview. We look forward to meeting you! Duties Stock cooler, keep the outside clean and stocked. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns. Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring shelves are stocked and organized. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling where appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and store environment. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions and provide accurate change to customers. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer engagement. Experience in stocking, merchandising, and product demos is a plus, contributing to a well-rounded skill set for this role.
