Produce Team Member Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available Bishop's Orchards is looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking Part-Time and Full-Time Produce Team Members to join our Produce Department. Our Produce Team Members help create the fresh, inviting experience our customers expect when they shop at Bishop's Orchards. This is a hands-on position that includes stocking and merchandising fresh produce, maintaining product quality and freshness, assisting customers, and keeping the department clean, organized, and well stocked. What You'll Do Stock, rotate, organize, and merchandise fresh produce to maintain attractive, full displays. Inspect products regularly to ensure they meet Bishop's Orchards standards for freshness and quality. Prepare produce and products for display and sale as needed. Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, including helping customers locate products and answering questions. Learn about our produce, seasonal offerings, and locally grown products so you can better assist our customers. Monitor product quality, spoilage, and waste and follow proper rotation and storage procedures. Maintain accurate signage, pricing, and product displays. Keep the Produce Department, coolers, work areas, and equipment clean, organized, and sanitary. Follow all food safety, sanitation, Weights and Measures, workplace safety, and department procedures. Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing responsibilities as assigned. Report safety concerns, product quality issues, or other department needs to management. Assist other areas of the department and Market when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude. Previous produce, grocery, farm market, food, or retail experience is helpful but not required . Schedule We are currently looking for both Part-Time and Full-Time Produce Team Members. Schedules may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business and seasonal needs. Weekend availability is especially important in our retail and seasonal environment. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions This is an active, hands-on position. Team Members must be able to: Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift. Bend, reach, twist, squat, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements. Work in refrigerated, freezer, indoor, and outdoor environments with varying temperatures. Work in both wet and dry conditions. Safely use ladders when required.
