Job Description

A stockroom associate assists in all operations related to inventory, storage, and distribution of goods within a retail environment. The primary responsibilities include managing stock levels, organizing the stockroom, supervising staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring efficient and accurate handling of all merchandise. Would also be working sales floor as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing and managing all incoming and outgoing stock in the warehouse or stockroom. Ensuring inventory is well-organized, accurately recorded, and readily available for store needs. Developing and implementing procedures and policies for stock management. Performing regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciling inventory discrepancies. Leading, training, and supervising stockroom personnel. Monitoring and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the stockroom.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
Strong organizational and leadership skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Experience with inventory control. Physical ability to lift and move boxes or products as required. Computer proficiency for inventory software and reporting. Stockroom associates play a critical role in supporting sales and overall business efficiency by ensuring that products are available, accessible, and accounted for accurately at all times.
Pay:
$16.50 - $17.50 per hour
