Job PositionStock Room Assistant Experience6 Months - 2 years warehouse or stockroom experience is desirable Location EducationHigh school diploma or GED equivalent The stock room assistant helps manage, receive, and distribute specialized aircraft parts for repair orders, issues needed raw materials, and tools. The assistant pulls parts, assembles parts into kits, tracks inventory accuracy, and issue supplies to technicians in accordance with regulatory rules for aerospace manufacturing and repair operations.
Receiving:
Unpacks incoming shipments, counts items, and check for physical damage or discrepancies against purchase orders.
Parts Distribution:
Pull parts and chemicals using work orders to support technicians.
Inventory Control:
Log stock movements, perform daily cycle counts, and update company inventory databases.
Stock Maintenance:
Keep the stockroom clean, safe, and organized while adhering to specialized storage guidelines for sensitive components. Ability to follow structured procedures and communicate effectively. Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software, MRP systems, or Microsoft Office is desirable. Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, reach, and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
