About Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort Join the team at this vibrant, retro hotel inspired by iconic Florida beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s. Provides support to Attendants, Cashiers and Bussers in all aspects of service by: stocking all service areas and maintaining adequate supplies during meal period, stocking silverware, transporatation of food trays to stations, replenshing dry storage and cooler items for sale, adhering to established storage and stock rotation procedures. Job Specifics Monitors par levels for items in inventory, notifies Restaurant Management when levels reach reorder point Monitors temperatures in refrigerated storage areas and notifies Restaurant Management and Engineering of elevated temperatures Inspects and prepares all silverware prior to use Assists in completion of post shift clean up an side work duties Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate Supervisor Regular attendance in conformance with standards May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs Required to attend all training sessions and meetings General Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance Is polite, friendly and helpful to guests, management and fellow team members Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Recycles whenever possible Remains current with hotel information and changes Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards Other duties as assigned Ability to perform "Physical Requirements" as explained below Qualifications Food and Beverage experience preferred. Proven experience working in high-volume Food and Beverage operations preferred. Strong organizational skills. Excellent guest service skills. Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
