Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Lumber Stocker with a clean background to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing lumber inventory, stocking materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. Your bilingual skills will enable effective communication with diverse team members and customers, enhancing overall service quality. This position offers an energetic environment where your organizational skills and attention to safety will contribute significantly to our operational success. Responsibilities Use RF scanners to accurately track and manage inventory levels of lumber and related materials Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and stock movement Stock shelves, produce displays, and organize lumber products according to store standards and inventory control procedures Assist customers with product knowledge, retail sales, and merchandising efforts in a friendly, professional manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area, including routine cleaning and equipment maintenance Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments while adhering to safe lifting practices Conduct inventory management tasks, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and documentation of discrepancies Experience Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience involving stocking, inventory control, or materials handling is preferred Familiarity with warehouse operations such as forklift operation, RF scanner use, shipping & receiving procedures, and manual handling techniques Experience working with lumber or building materials is a plus but not required Strong communication skills in both English and another language (bilingual proficiency) are highly valued Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper ergonomic practices Basic math skills for inventory counting and transaction processing are necessary Knowledge of retail sales environments or grocery store experience can be advantageous Join us to become part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality products while fostering a safe, organized, and customer-focused environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
