Overview For this position, your responsibilities include checking out customers and assisting customers (customers may request merchandise that is locked, behind the counter, hard to reach places, etc). You will also stock shelves and help maintain the store by putting merchandise back where they belong. It will also be your duty to adhere security sensors to items that require it. We are looking to hire people to help at the cash registers, the hair department, and the wig department.

In person Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with inquiries and purchases. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions, handle cash, and manage returns. Maintain accurate cash handling practices and ensure the register balances at the end of each shift. Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked appropriately. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and encourage sales. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services to customers. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support during shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment. Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing, refunds, and inventory management. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and transaction processing. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
