Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Lakeside Cafe Job Summary Responsible for receiving stock and organizing inventory in the stockroom, freezers and coolers using FIFO and ServSafe practices. Keep stockroom, coolers, and freezers clean and organized and perform regular inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are accurate, properly stored, and not damaged or expired. Responsibilities Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with standards and regulations Receive and stock merchandise Put stock away in designated locations and organize products according to FIFO standards. Report any damaged or expired product to management Maintain stock and ensure that all products are stored in the proper location, are organized and not expired or damaged Maintain clean floors and shelving in stock rooms, coolers, and freezers Breakdown all cardboard boxes and take them to the proper recycling container, ensure all trash is disposed of properly and all shipping materials are removed from service areas and placed in the proper location for pickup Assist with inventory counts and ensure communication with the ordering manager when items are low or need to be replaced Ensure all damaged products are reported to the manager for disposal, replacement, and credit as needed Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Proposed Salary $15.84 - $16.50 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
