As an Ace Hardware Clerk, you will be an essential part of our retail team, assisting customers with their hardware and home improvement needs. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.Examples of Duties:
Greet and assist customers in locating products and answering questions. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register. Restock shelves and ensure that products are neatly arranged and easy to find. Provide product recommendations and advice based on customer needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing merchandise. Assist with receiving shipments and restocking inventory. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of hardware and home improvement products. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills. Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines for retail environments.Skills:
