We buy and sell gently used clothing and accessories and give customers CASH on the spot for their items! This position requires a minimum of 4 shifts per week including Sunday 10a-7p and Friday 4p-9p with 2 other shifts per week. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Shift Lead . This dynamic role is designed for those who are passionate about resale, eager to develop leadership skills, and excited to learn the ins and outs of retail operations. As a Shift Lead, you will gain hands-on experience in managing daily activities, purchasing items from customers, supervising team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties Lead daily store operations by supervising team members to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service. Assist customers with their shopping experience, providing product demos and upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Manage POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain organized merchandising and stocking of merchandise to create an inviting shopping environment. Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising displays aligned with store standards. Train and support team members in retail sales techniques, phone etiquette, and product knowledge. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including proper cash handling procedures and store policies. Qualifications Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math for accurate transactions. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base better. Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on positive interactions and problem-solving. Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, upselling techniques, and product demos. Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations related to sales and cash handling.
