Oversees stockroom, performs stock room maintenance and shipping tasks.

Ponchatoula, Louisiana job type: Solutions salary: $20- 21 per hour work hours: Rotating Shifts education: High School responsibilities: Efficiently locate, pick, and pack orders according to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist with morning setup, ensuring the operational area is clean, organized, safe, and that all equipment is fully functional.
Perform daily inventory counts and maintain meticulous care of stock and equipment.
Act as the right hand to the Operations Team Lead, helping to monitor workflow and guide frontline team members.
Confidently manage onsite team activities and daily operations when the Team Lead or Tier 2 managers are unavailable.
Champion site safety protocols, lead by example, and assist in the immediate resolution of any operational incidents.
Keep a pulse on daily throughput and support the team in hitting key supply chain goals.
qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience in a fast-paced environment (logistics, retail, warehouse, or fulfillment).
- Proven experience or strong desire to step into a leadership role; experience coaching or training peers is a plus.
- Good understanding of standard warehouse/supply chain processes and exposure to performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, cycle times, throughput).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a heavy focus on safety details.
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver's license for occasional travel between sector sites.
- Ability to work outdoors, stand for long periods, and comfortably lift up to 35 lbs.
- Availability required between 6 AM and 10 PM, 7 days/week (up to 40 hours per week).
