Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stock Clerk and become a vital part of our supply chain and warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing stock, and ensuring seamless flow of materials throughout the warehouse. Your proactive approach will help optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support overall logistics excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management, data analysis, and supply chain coordination while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software such as AS400 or ERP systems. Organize and stock materials efficiently within designated warehouse areas, utilizing forklifts and materials handling equipment as needed. Conduct regular inventory counts, data mining, and root cause analysis to identify discrepancies and implement process improvements. Collaborate with procurement, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and optimal stock levels. Maintain detailed documentation of shipping & receiving activities, inventory movements, and stock adjustments using spreadsheets, SQL queries, or data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Support demand planning and category management initiatives by analyzing sales trends with Nielsen or other retail analytics data. Assist in shipping & receiving operations, including heavy lifting and materials handling to facilitate smooth order fulfillment. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related warehouse operations roles. Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Technical proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (like AS400), and inventory control software. Knowledge of logistics inventory management, procurement processes, and supply chain analytics. Ability to perform root cause analysis and contribute to process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment. Valid forklift certification preferred; experience with materials handling equipment is a plus. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with sourcing, merchandising, production planning, and supplier management teams. Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods; familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures is advantageous.
