In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and stocking fresh produce items, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. Your proactive approach will help us deliver fresh, high-quality produce to our customers while supporting seamless warehouse operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in inventory management, materials handling, and retail store support within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely load and unload produce shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Organize and stock produce items accurately on shelves or pallets, maintaining proper inventory control and product freshness. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management to prevent stock discrepancies. Use RF scanners to track incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area, including packing stations and storage zones, adhering to safety standards. Assist with packaging produce for retail display or shipment, ensuring proper merchandising and presentation. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for delivery or pickup while following safe lifting practices. Communicate effectively with team members in multiple languages if applicable to ensure smooth operations. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy boxes or crates while prioritizing safety at all times. Support retail store functions by understanding product knowledge, cashiering, and customer service when needed. Skills Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock management. Knowledge of produce handling, packaging, merchandising, and retail store operations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for effective team collaboration. Familiarity with warehouse procedures such as shipping & receiving, load & unload processes, and materials handling equipment operation. Basic math skills for inventory counting and retail math calculations. Prior retail store or grocery experience is advantageous for understanding product presentation and customer service standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks such as stocking, cleaning, packaging, and inventory checks. 2:00 AM-9:00-10

AM Responsibilities:

Pull and organize produce orders accurately Load delivery trucks Operate a hi-lo to load pallets onto trucks Check orders for accuracy and product quality Keep the warehouse clean and organized Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and coworkers

Qualifications:
