Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and hard-working Grocery Stocker to help keep our shelves full and our store looking its best. As a stocker in our One World Market, you will play an essential role in ensuring customers have access to a wide variety of fresh, authentic Japanese food products and everyday essentials. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, organizing back stock, rotating products for freshness, and creating neat and attractive displays.
Key Responsibilities:
Unpack and stock merchandise on shelves, in coolers, and in freezers Rotate stock to ensure freshness and check for expiration dates Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom Assist in receiving and verifying deliveries Ensure product displays are full, clean, and correctly labeled Provide helpful and friendly customer service when needed Handle Japanese grocery items with care and familiarity Follow store safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous retail or stocking experience preferred but not required Familiarity with Japanese food products or a willingness to learn Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Basic English required; Japanese language skills are a plus Why Join Us?
