Duties Operate cash registers efficiently, accurately handling transactions and providing excellent customer service Stock shelves with fresh produce and grocery items, ensuring products are properly displayed and rotated Use RF scanners to track inventory levels, update stock records, and assist in inventory control processes Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, ensuring safe handling of heavy goods Maintain cleanliness of produce displays, checkout areas, and storage zones through regular cleaning and maintenance tasks Assist customers with questions about products, locate items in the store, and offer product recommendations Support shipping and receiving activities by organizing incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing orders for shipment Skills Strong organizational skills to manage inventory levels and maintain orderly displays Proficiency with inventory management systems and RF scanners for accurate stock tracking Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) Knowledge of produce handling, packaging, merchandising, and grocery store operations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during stocking tasks Customer service orientation with friendly interpersonal skills to enhance shopper satisfaction Retail math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions Familiarity with warehouse experience, shipping & receiving procedures, and general maintenance tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise in a fast-paced environment.
