As a Stock Assistant, you will play a key role in receiving deliveries, organizing stock, replenishing shelves, and ensuring products are stored accurately and safely. Stock Assistant Job Description In this role, you will support daily warehouse or retail operations by handling stock movement, maintaining inventory levels, and keeping storage areas clean and organized. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically fit, and able to work efficiently as part of a team. Key ResponsibilitiesStock Control & Inventory Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries Organize stock in storage areas and stockrooms Label, sort, and store products correctly Monitor stock levels and report shortages Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks Warehouse & Store Support Replenish shelves and sales floor stock as needed Move stock safely using manual handling equipment Prepare items for dispatch, packing, or transfer Ensure stock areas remain clean, tidy, and safe Follow health and safety procedures at all times Administrative Duties Update inventory systems and stock records Report damaged, missing, or incorrect stock Assist management with stock rotation and product checks Support general warehouse and store operations as required Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Ability to lift and move stock safely Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude Ability to work independently and within a team Basic computer skills for stock systems Previous warehouse, retail, or stockroom experience is beneficial but not required Schedule & Pay Full-time and part-time positions available Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities available Paid training provided What We Offer Supportive team environment Career progression opportunities Ongoing training and development Stable long-term employment Positive and professional workplace culture !
