Livestock/Feedlot Worker-Montana Company Flatlander Cattle Company, LLC

Description Intended period of Employment 10/30/2026 to 6/15/2027 Duties related to the production of livestock will include the following check physical characteristics, observe general condition of livestock and the appropriate care

examine animals to detect illness/injury/disease, rate of weight gain or to determine offspring delivery time

assist in delivery; or administer medications, vaccines and/or insecticides

mix feed/additives and feed/water livestock

place mineral blocks

drive equipment to haul/distribute feed/water

herd livestock; confine livestock in stalls

clean corrals/stalls/sheds; dock, castrate, brand, clip/tag and clamp livestock

clean/disinfect livestock stalls/corrals/sheds; maintain records on animals

hoist/stack bales of hay onto wagon/truck

build/replace/repair/maintain fencing/pens

clean/repair/maintain livestock facilities

drive to local supply retailers to pick up and/or deliver parts/feed/supplies/equipment

workers possessing the proper licensure may be asked to transport other farm workers. Work will take place in various employer-owned/operated fields/worksites within a 15-mile radius. Delivery/pickup sites are located in Richland County. Workers travel to these locations to deliver/pickup goods after the workday begins and return home the same day. Applicants must provide the contact information of at least one reference who can verify performance. Applicants hired must be able to obtain a valid Driver's License as driving on public roads may be required. Employer provided housing-Workers will be responsible for maintaining housing in a neat and clean manner. In case of emergency, workers occupying this housing can be contacted by calling the number listed in Section II, Item 12 of the Form ETA-790. Housing will be provided to workers only. Employer Provided Tools and Equipment- Employer agrees to provide to workers, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
