Grocery Stocker

What You'll Do Stock, face, and rotate merchandise on shelves and in coolers following FIFO practices Receive and unload vendor and distributor deliveries Break down cardboard, maintain backstock organization, and keep the floor clean and safe Read and process invoices; verify delivery accuracy against purchase orders Use a handheld RF scanner to count inventory and locate items Assist customers in finding products and answer questions about ingredients, allergens, and dietary needs Restock end caps, build promotional displays, and set up signage as directed Communicate low stock, damaged product, and out-of-dates to the department manager Support other departments during busy periods as needed What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early morning or weekend shifts Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods Attention to detail — expiration dates, shelf tags, and facing matter here Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities A genuine interest in natural, organic, or health food products is a big plus Previous grocery, retail, or warehouse stocking experience preferred but not required — we train Spanish language skills are a plus for serving our diverse customer community Schedule & Compensation $16.50 - $17.00 per hour based on experience Full-time and part-time positions available; flexible scheduling considered Weekend availability required Why Work With Us Employee discount on store products Positive, team-oriented work environment — many of our staff have been here for years Opportunity to grow into senior stocker, department lead, or cross-train in deli and kitchen You'll work with products you can feel good about
