Dairy Stocker, 8am - 12 noon, weekdays Food Towne Market North Chili, NY Job Details Part-time $19 - $21 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Qualifications Packing Merchandising Forklift Warehouse experience Materials handling Full Job Description Job Summary Join our team as a Dairy Stocker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling, stocking, and management of frozen and dairy products within our retail environment. Responsibilities Fill and rotate retail merchandise for sale in our Dairy and Frozen Food Departments. Operate RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and product scanning during receiving, stocking, and shipping processes Maintain organized stock areas through proper merchandising, shelving, and rotation of products in accordance with safety standards Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management to prevent stock discrepancies Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to safety protocols including safe lifting practices and manual handling procedures Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing orders for delivery or transfer to retail stores Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment and work areas to uphold cleanliness standards Skills Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and materials handling procedures Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages (bilingual skills are a plus) Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and packaging processes Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory accuracy Proven customer service skills when interacting with retail partners or team members Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices Warehouse experience in produce or food distribution environments preferred Knowledge of shipping & receiving protocols along with manual handling techniques
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
