Job Description

Student Worker Stockroom AssistantNumber of Openings:
3 Purpose/Objective of the
Role:
Assist the Chemistry Lab Manager with inventory and supplies for teaching labs
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Receive department safety training at the start of the semester. See Dr. Grunkemeyer for details.

Follow all safety guidelines, including those for eye protection and dress.

You will be assisting the stockroom manager and assigned tasks may include:

Preparing the lab rooms.

Preparing solutions and equipment.

Preparing unknowns.

Disposing of waste chemicals.

Checking, maintaining, and updating inventory lists.
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed one year of
CHEM 110/111
before applying for this position.
