A Stocking Clerk replenishes and organizes shelves in a retail store. Unpacks and checks inventory received in a warehouse or stockroom, moves products to fill shelves and retrieves orders for customers or sales associates; may add labels or prices to products.
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Gas Station Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage transactions efficiently, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role also includes stocking shelves, receiving and organizing deliveries, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the gas station.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Operate cash register, handle cash and card transactions accurately. Ensure prompt and efficient service at the register and fuel pumps. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise. Receive, check, and organize deliveries; rotate stock as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the store, forecourt, restrooms, and other areas. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs. Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines. Report any equipment or maintenance issues to management. Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager. Preparing Food in the Kitchen Preparing Made to Order Foods U-Haul assignments
Qualifications:
Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus, but not required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced retail environment. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions when assisting at the fuel pumps or receiving deliveries. The Food Service Associate is responsible for preparing, serving, and cleaning dishes, silverware, and glasses in accordance with Hilliard Grab N Go standards. This individual will assist in the daily operations of the restaurant as well as all other duties assigned.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare food in line with company and health regulations Place orders for food and supplies at least once a day to meet the daily needs. Follow the cleaning schedule to maintain the restaurant. Follow the safety and security procedures as outlined in the employee handbook. Complete other duties assigned by management to ensure a safe work environment. Cleaning tasks including; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen and dining room, making sure there are no broken glass or other food waste containers and that all tools are cleaned and sanitized before they are stored.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds on occasion. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and maneuver for long periods of time. The employee will be outside in all types of weather conditions.
