- Vision Insurance Summary of the role Reporting to the Production Manager, the Stock Clerk performs a wide variety of assigned stock keeping tasks and functions related to the maintenance of the production store. Tasks of the role
- Prepare shop order kits and perform traceability through the MRP system.
- Receive shipments and enter items into the MRP system.
- Prepare the required paperwork for deliverable products.
- Manage the stock floor system and organize materials.
- Issue or deliver parts and material to production or employees.
- Issue shortages to production.
- Move components to different locations.
- Yearly inventory count. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving and/or stock room management.
- Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and MRP systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work within strict deadlines.
