Kauffman Orchards is seeking a hardworking, motivated individual to join our growing team. This position is at our main market location, in Bird in Hand, PA. Applicants must be willing to work Saturdays to be considered for the position. The Produce/Market Associate works primarily in the produce department but may work in other departments as assigned. Job Essentials & Physical Demands Able to follow oral and written instructions utilizing the English language well enough to perform the essential duties of the position. Possess basic math skills. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, or squat for extended periods of time. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Job Duties/Competencies Have a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service. Pat attention to customer's needs and assist them in a cheerful and helpful manner. Keep produce section stocked and organized, pulling stock from cold storage, creating displays, cleaning, rotating stock, ensuring quality control, and managing inventory. Perform general cashiering duties as needed. Must be proficient with cash handling. Willingness to work in other departments as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
