Job Description
Overview As a Stocking Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our retail environment is well-organized and fully stocked for our customers. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise on the sales floor while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Duties Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Unpack merchandise and stock shelves according to established guidelines. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records. Perform heavy lifting as needed to move products from storage areas to the sales floor. Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor to provide a welcoming shopping experience. Assist customers with inquiries regarding product availability and location. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking processes and optimal product placement. Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Experience Previous experience in retail or stocking roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. Experience using RF scanners or similar inventory management tools is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods while maintaining productivity. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Hours can start at 6am for a 5hr shift or 8hr shift but very flexible.
