Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes positive customer engagement through customer service Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment Trains and develops team members Manages on-line orders and traffic requirements to efficiently meet customer needs Manages the staging process between shopper and customer Understands all roles of the Giant Direct process, leads Giant Direct operations in absence of Giant Direct Team Lead. Assists Giant Direct lead in using good judgement in team member delegation, empowerment, and follow-up to provide exemplary customer service Works with store and department management to provide feedback and address operational issues Handles customer questions, comments, and complaints
Qualifications:
Must be able to work in the United States Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills Problem solver who is willing to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements Ability to use computers and other communication systems required to perform job functions Must be able to meet minimum physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Meets minimum age requirements (based on state regulations)
Physical Requirements:
Shift hours: Minimum 4 hour shift or more depending upon business needs Job cycles: Continual max
Lift/carry:
50 lbs Stand 55%, Sit 0%, Walk 45%
Category IV:
Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
Max pull static:
20 lbs Perform repetitive hand motions using various equipment Frequently reaching at waste level and occasionally above shoulder or below waist level Can gather up to five (5) shopping carts at a time and push them to designated areas Sufficient visual acuity to read display screens, check ID cards, PC screens, invoices, etc. Exposure to weather conditions Preferred Requirements Team members are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as stated in the policy and procedure manual and the team member handbook The GIANT Company is an equal opportunity employer.
