Teammates at Value Chain (Going Going Gone!) support a fast-paced, value-driven retail environment. In this role, you will greet customers, answer questions, and deliver efficient, friendly service at the sales floor and registers. You'll operate POS systems, process payments, and handle returns accurately. You will stock shelves, ticket and mark down merchandise, and help manage inventory so closeout product moves quickly and stays organized. Teammates keep the store clean and safe, follow loss-prevention and safety procedures, and collaborate with coworkers to meet sales, service, and productivity goals. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide knowledgeable, friendly service on the sales floor and at checkout. Operate the POS system accurately, handling cash, card, and returns per company policy. Stock shelves, organize racks, and set merchandise according to planograms and promotions. Assist with inventory counts, ticketing, and markdowns to move closeout product efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor, fitting rooms, and backroom areas. Monitor for loss prevention issues and follow procedures to protect company assets. Support opening and closing procedures, including basic cleaning and restocking. Communicate with teammates and supervisors to meet daily sales and productivity goals.
