S. Clyde Weaver is hiring a full-time Farmer's Market Associate at our farmer's market stand in the Lancaster County Farmer's Market in Wayne, PA! This position works between 37-40 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday. Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision benefits the first of the month after 30 days. Full-time employees also receive paid Vacation and Sick time as well as company paid holidays. Employees receive free lunch and employee discounts. Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner Stocking/building case displays Product preparation Help with market stand set up and tear down Cleaning and sanitizing market cases Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products Differentiate between products, helping customers compare and contrast flavors, textures, parings, etc. Answer all customer questions and address concerns Make helpful suggestions that will be useful to the customer Handle all transactions with accuracy Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience Train/operate food service equipment (slicer, chipper, etc.) Additional sanitation and market support as needed Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years of retail experience desired Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive and friendly attitude Reliable and punctual Must be able to lift 30 pounds Please submit your application online; inquiries via phone will not be accepted.
