Russell Tobin's client, an American entertainment providers company, is hiring an Assistant Merchandiser in Kissimmee, FL (Hybrid) !

Duration:
12+ months with possible extension Pay range: $26/hr•$30/hr W2
Schedule:
Mon•Fri 9 AM•5
PM Role Overview:
Reporting to the Merchandising Manager in Accessories, this individual will assist in creating and executing the strategy for a collection of high-quality, consumer-focused, trend-right product lines within a retail and entertainment environment. Responsibilities Softlines Merchandising Assist in creating and executing the product strategy for a collection of products or initiatives Research trends, organize findings, assemble input from key partners, and prepare presentation decks, briefs, and recaps Establish perspective on product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Demonstrate passion for consumer insights and product trends Deliver all item setup information and maintain updates within designated global systems, including PLM Attend cross-functional team meetings to support communication and coordination across teams Coordinate product samples among key partners and support room setups for product showcases Prepare and maintain quarterly merchandise catalogs and photobooks Support diversity and inclusion initiatives through professional growth and collaboration Assist with additional Brand Merchandising projects as needed Basic Qualifications 1-3 years of progressive experience in Product Development and/or Merchandising Strong interest in building product lines within a retail environment Strategic thinker with the ability to execute against timelines and plans Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain relationships with internal and external partners Ability to build and foster collaborative partnerships across functions and departments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Passion for retail and brand merchandising Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously High attention to detail with proactive follow-through skills Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and feedback Self-starter with willingness to learn new skills and processes Preferred Qualifications Previous PLM experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Education Associate's degree or equivalent experience Must-Have Skills Extremely organized and detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Excellent communication and follow-up skills Strong interest in the retail and merchandising business Previous PLM experience is a plus Benefits that Russell Tobin offers: Russell Tobin and it's affiliates offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k•retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
