When you sort a donation or stock a shelf, you're not just doing a retail job — you're helping fund a mission. What You'll Do As part of our Production & Stock Team, you'll help keep the store stocked, organized, and ready for customers. That work directly fuels our ability to give back.

Responsibilities may include:

Sorting and processing donated clothing and household merchandise Preparing merchandise for the sales floor Hanging, pricing, and organizing clothing and other items Stocking and maintaining merchandise on the sales floor Keeping production, stock, and work areas clean and organized Working with your team to meet daily production goals Helping maintain a safe, efficient, and positive workplace Assisting in other areas of the store as needed Why Work for AMVETS? Team members must be able to: Operate and use equipment necessary for the stock room and production area Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers Read, count, and write accurately to complete necessary documentation Access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock room, and production areas Frequently move, lift, or handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds Perform the physical activities normally associated with stocking and processing merchandise throughout a shift
