This position is responsible for monitoring the calving pen, newborn calf care, feeding all calves on milk, vaccinating, dehorning, and transitioning calves to group housing through 6 months of age. The candidate will assist the herd manager with overall herd health for all animals and manage and coordinate with other employees and owners to ensure proper care of all youngstock.

Qualifications:

• Calf feeding / Youngstock management (minimum 1 year experience)
• Strong Leadership / motivational skills
• Strong Herd Health experience
• Feed/Nutrition knowledge
• Strong Calf care experience (newborn to 6 months)
