Schedule Full-Time:

Approximately 35-39 hours per week

Regular Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Saturday Requirement:

This position is required to work one Saturday per month from 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The regular weekday schedule may be adjusted during to maintain the employee's scheduled weekly hours. Applicants must be available for the required one Saturday sale schedule. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and physically capable Sales & Load-Out Associate who enjoys working with customers and is comfortable performing hands-on work throughout the workday. This is an active, physical retail position. The Sales & Load-Out Associate works throughout the store and outdoor sales areas assisting customers, moving and organizing merchandise, maintaining shoppable areas, and loading customer purchases. Position Summary The Sales & Load-Out Associate provides excellent customer service while assisting customers with merchandise selection, writing sales slips, maintaining merchandise areas, and safely loading purchases. This position requires a combination of customer service, sales support and regular physical work . Key Responsibilities Assist customers with product questions, merchandise selection and purchases. Write accurate sales slips and consistently follow established sales guidelines and store policies. Safely and efficiently load customer purchases. Move, stock and organize merchandise throughout the store and back-of-store areas. Maintain clean, organized and shoppable merchandise areas. Assist with daily setup and placement of merchandise in outdoor display areas, including tables, lawn equipment and other large merchandise. Assist with returning outdoor merchandise to designated areas when required. Help maintain orderly back-of-store storage and load-out areas. Work cooperatively with the Store Lead and other team members. Follow established safety procedures when lifting, moving and loading merchandise. Perform other store and load-out duties reasonably related to the position as assigned. May be trained and authorized to provide limited cashier/register coverage based on store needs, demonstrated reliability, and management approval. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position . Applicants should be prepared to perform physical work regularly throughout the workday. Ability to regularly lift, move, push and assist with merchandise. Ability to lift and move large items weighing up to 100 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment when necessary. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required by store operations. Ability to safely assist with moving and loading large merchandise. Qualifications Strong customer-service and communication skills. Dependable and punctual attendance. Ability and willingness to perform the physical requirements of the position. Ability to follow established procedures, policies and directions. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with customers and coworkers. Previous retail, customer-service, stocking, load-out, warehouse or similar experience is preferred but not required. Ability and willingness to learn additional store responsibilities, including limited cashier duties if selected and authorized by management.
