Approximately 6:00 AM-12:30 PM Classy Cactus Farm is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member to run our booth at the Murfreesboro Saturday Market on the Square during market season. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, doesn't mind an early Saturday morning, and can confidently handle the physical setup and operation of a farmers market booth. Responsibilities Pick up and drive the Classy Cactus Farm cargo van to and from the market Safely load and unload plants, displays, tables, tents, signage, and other market supplies Set up the Classy Cactus Farm booth and product displays before the market opens Create and maintain an attractive, organized display throughout the morning Greet customers and provide friendly, outgoing customer service Answer basic questions about succulents, products, Classy Cactus Farm, and the Succulent Bar Assist customers with purchases and operate the point-of-sale system Keep the booth clean, organized, and fully stocked Help promote upcoming Classy Cactus events and encourage customers to visit the Succulent Bar Break down the booth at the end of the market Reload the cargo van and return all products, displays, and supplies to Classy Cactus Farm Make sure equipment and unsold inventory are returned and properly stored Schedule Saturdays, May through October Approximately 6:00 AM-12:30 PM This position requires someone who can reliably work Saturday mornings throughout the market season. Because this employee will be responsible for transporting and setting up the booth, punctuality and dependability are extremely important. Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be comfortable driving a cargo van Must be able to lift, carry, load, and unload market equipment, plants, tables, and displays Must be comfortable setting up and taking down a canopy/tent and booth display Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be friendly, approachable, and comfortable talking with customers Must be dependable and able to work independently Retail, farmers market, event, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Interest in plants and succulents is a bonus — we can teach you the plant stuff! Who We're Looking For We need someone who will treat the Classy Cactus booth like it's their own for the morning. You'll often be the face of Classy Cactus Farm at the market, so we're looking for someone who is welcoming, responsible, takes initiative, and enjoys creating a great experience for customers. This isn't just a "sit behind a table" position. It involves driving, lifting, setting up, selling, talking with customers, and breaking everything back down at the end of the market.
