Located in our beautiful Nashville, TN facility and reporting to the Shop Manager, the Shop Assistant will support shop operations by assisting the team with all shop related tasks.

Responsibilities:

Provide general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical tasks Assist with shop loading and jobsite preparation Load and unload delivery trucks Clean and maintain equipment as directed Assist project managers and shop supervisor. Operate equipment such as forklift Receive, unpack, and arrange new shipments from suppliers and vendors Arranging and labelling goods Receive/unload trucks and correctly identifies and stores materials in proper locations Pick material from inventory to fulfill orders for projects Clean and organize shop for efficient workflow Drive company trucks to job sites and delivers material Assist in job site pick-ups/clean ups Maintain a good driving record and obeys traffic laws in company vehicles Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Proficiency in inventory software, computer systems, and barcode scanners. Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy items (typically up to 50 lbs), and stand for long periods. High attention to detail for tracking, recording, and verifying data. Experience with, or ability to learn, forklifts, pallet jacks, and shipping tools.
